Singing for Haiti

Arborlawn United Methodist Church is hosting a concert to benefit Haiti on Sunday, January 24, at 3 PM. Instead of purchasing tickets, audience members are asked to make a donation to the Red Cross; representatives will be on hand in the lobby to collect such donations.

The concert is a collaboration among Arborlawn’s own choir, directed by Dr. Tom Stoker; the Wesleyan Chamber Choir, directed by Dr. Jerry Bierschenk; and Schola Cantorum of Texas, directed by Dr. Jerry McCoy. Robert McDonald and Jerry Westenkuehler, organists, will also perform. Please stop by to show your support, and enjoy such spiritual selections as “Walk in Peace” and “God Be With You,” as the music—and much-needed monetary donations—are lifted up to victims of the recent earthquake.
