Good news for those in Northeast Tarrant County: There's a farmers' market organizing in Keller; in fact, the Keller Farmers' Market, expected to debut in April, is in the process of putting together a roster of farmers right now. The goal is to have 25 Texan farmers represented—including offerings of vegetables, olive oil, and eggs—with preference given to those who follow pesticide-free, chemical-free, and free-range practices. The market is also interested in including locally made cheeses and baked goods. If you're interested, or have a farm or bakery to recommend, contact executive director Bridget Rodewald at firstname.lastname@example.org or 817-709-9411. Check out the website or become a fan of the market on Facebook for updates as opening day approaches.
